MAP sensor 854445 is for use in MerCruiser 525 EFI sterndrive engines and MerCruiser 8.2L sterndrive or inboard engines made between 2010 and 2014. Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensors monitor air flow for fuel injection control to deliver the most efficient combustion and highest engine performance. Important to replace when bad.
